Majority of Jakarta Stays Sunny as Rain Forecasted for South and West Areas

The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) forecasts a range of conditions from clear skies to light rain across Jakarta today.

Temperatures today are expected to range from 26 to 34 degrees Celsius

"Sunny in the morning," stated BMKG's official website, Friday (6/12).

As the day progresses into noon, clear weather is expected to persist across several areas, including Seribu Islands, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and East Jakarta. Meanwhile, light showers are anticipated in West Jakarta and South Jakarta.

Clear Skies to Blanket Jakarta Today, BMKG Says

By afternoon, sunny skies will dominate most of the Jakarta region, specifically in Seribu Islands, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, West Jakarta, and South Jakarta. In contrast, East Jakarta is expected to be overcast.

In the evening, cloudy conditions will cover Seribu Islands, while Central, North, West, and East Jakarta will see partly cloudy skies. In South Jakarta, the weather is projected to remain clear.

Temperatures today are expected to range from 26 to 34 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels fluctuating between 42 and 83 percent.
